IMRONS – Intelligent Nursery System (Phase 1–4)

2020 – 2025

  • Client: Jabatan Perikanan Malaysia
  • Location: Pusat Penetasan Udang Galah, Kg Acheh, Perak
  • Duration: 5 project phases over 5 years
  • Scope: IoT-based aquaculture monitoring and control system
  • Problem: Manual water quality monitoring caused inconsistent conditions for prawn hatching.

The Intelligent Nursery System (IMRONS) project, developed in collaboration with Jabatan Perikanan Malaysia, revolutionized freshwater aquaculture management in Malaysia. Over five development phases, Eagle Attech implemented a full-scale IoT automation platform to monitor and control critical parameters in prawn hatcheries — including pH, salinity, temperature, ammonia, and dissolved oxygen levels. Later phases integrated motorized valves, automatic feeders, and predictive analytics to ensure optimal growth conditions and reduce losses. The system not only modernized the hatchery’s operations but also provided data-driven insights to support long-term aquaculture research and improve national production efficiency.
